The Signature Fundraising Event for No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation

On Saturday, November 9, 2019 the Wayne Gretzky Ballroom at the JW Marriot

Edmonton Ice District will be transformed into an elegant, black tie setting to pay

tribute to those who serve our country.

A Dance to Remember on Saturday, November 9th, 2019 is in support of the No

Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation, whose important mission is:

To honour the service and sacrifice of Canada’s military by educating

students and placing a poppy on the headstones of veterans every

November.

This year we pay special tribute to the Canadians who served during D-Day, a

pivotal moment in World War II.

As we reflect on and honour their immense

service and sacrifice, we look to the youngest generation to keep that

remembrance alive. Across Canada, students and youth are participating in

hands-on, intergenerational ceremonies which reinforce the value and

importance of remembrance.

To Honour, To Educate, To Remember

Our Values are the foundation upon which we live and remember.

— Maureen Bianchini-Purvis, Founder of No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation

Your support will help us continue to fulfill our mission.

1. To Support Student participation in active ceremonies• Learning and awareness:

We are dedicated to passing on the values of honour and remembering to the next generation. Our experience tells us that engaging youth is the very foundation for transferring the knowledge and appreciation for military service and sacrifice to the next generation.

We will be tasked to provide transportation for more children than ever before.

2. To Honour our Military

• Sacrifice and service:

In ceremony, we honour the men and women in our military who have fallen and those who have suffered in service to their country and to the families, friends and neighbours who supported them.

• Gratitude and respect:

We honour and respect those men and women who have served and continue to serve in our military.
